Join the Josiah Henson Museum & Park for a day of play, learn how enslaved children, indigenous children, and children of the Holocaust incorporated play in their lives. We will also have games and hands on activities for children of all ages! Free with Museum Admission.

During our visit we attended an Open Studio session, visited the Betty Boyd Dettre Library and Research Center and saw “The Sky’s the Limit”.

We visited Alliance Comics in Downtown #SilverSpring to highlight their expansive collection of comics and graphic novels. They offer comic reservations, have a comic buyback program and even open an hour early on Wednesday for new releases. It was a pleasure visiting #AllianceComics and picking up a few $1 comics to jumpstart my collection.
