Join us at The Yellow Barn Studio, a creative oasis in Glen Echo Park, where community and artistic guidance converge in our nationally-recognized artists’ classes and workshops in drawing and painting.
Founded by acclaimed artist Walter Bartman, The Yellow Barn Studio is a haven for budding artists and experienced painters alike. We offer classes in watercolor, oil, acrylic, drawing, pastels, gouache, mixed media, art history and printmaking. Our winter term is about to start, January 15th, so if you are looking for a great art class, we have over eighty classes and workshops for all levels, taught by forty outstanding artists / teachers. The Yellow Barn Studio offers classes ranging in price based on hours in the classroom. Our tuition ranges between $75 for a short session class to $350 for a 2 1/2 hr. 10week course.

Glen Echo Park is located at 7300 MacArthur Blvd, Glen Echo, MD, 20812 (this is the intersection of Goldsboro Rd and MacArthur Blvd).
From Northern Virginia, take Route 495 to the exit for the Clara Barton Parkway toward Washington, DC. Take the Exit for Glen Echo. Left at the stop sign on MacArthur Blvd. and left into Glen Echo Park. The Yellow Barn is next to the stone tower.
From Rockville, take 270 South to 495 south toward Northern Virginia. Take the exit for Glen Echo and the Clara Barton Parkway. Exit at Glen Echo and proceed to the stop sign on MacArthur Blvd. Take a left into Glen Echo Park.
From Silver Spring, take East West Highway to Bethesda, turn onto Old Georgetown Road then take a left on Wilson Lane. Follow Wilson Lane for a few miles to MacArthur Blvd. Turn Left onto MacArthur Blvd, then turn right into Glen Echo Park's free parking lot.
Using Public Transportation, take Montgomery County Ride-On bus #29 operating daily from the Friendship Heights metro station on the Red Line.
