The Strathmore Mansion
This performance is the culmination of a series of workshops entitled Amplify US! Using the Arts to Bridge the Racial Divide. In the workshops, community members learned how to tell their personal stories through spoken word (storytelling and poetry) and visual arts (photography and video). At the library performances, workshop participants, many from different countries and backgrounds, will perform their pieces alongside professional storytellers.
