Animals Altered: Art Exhibition Opening Reception

What would dogs look like if they had jobs? How can thousands of starlings simultaneously twist and turn together in flight? In the Animals Altered exhibition, five talented artists have transformed real or imaginary animals through shifting physical, emotional, or dreamlike states, revealing our intimate connection with the animal world and how our actions may jeopardize their survival. The artists include Marta Gutierrez, Susan Hostetler, Ghavuri Kumar, Kyujin Lee, and Stephen Loya.
