"The weight is our responsibility. We're all connected- it can be positive, how we live with, learn from, and love others and our natural environment, but it can also be negative. Choices individuals make can and do affect the community and the world at large. My show includes positive connections made during the COVID-19 pandemic such as:
Drawing models I would have never met from all over the world online. I have been able to draw them in their homes, meet their partners, and new babies.
Drawing nature and animals and learning about these creatures among students and friends.Throughout the pandemic I've seen more and more despair, but positive connections made through art have resulted in stronger bonds in the local and global art community."
