Expand your musical horizons and experience the energy of a Rio de Janeiro street carnival — no passport required! Try out the iconic street carnival drumming for yourself in this weekly Brazilian bateria class. A bateria is the percussion ensemble that drives the groove of samba, one of Brazil's most popular styles of dance. Join us to learn the fundamentals of Brazilian bateria percussion technique and repertoire.
All experience levels are welcome.
