Join us at Oakley Cabin African American Museum and Park for a free dance workshop

Join us at Oakley Cabin African American Museum and Park on Saturday, April 8, 12:00 – 4:00 pm for a free dance workshop. Explore African rhythms from West Africa, the Caribbean Islands, Europe and North & South America. Bring the entire family to enjoy the fun!

PARKING for the event: Mt. Zion Local Park, 5130 Brookeville Road, Brookville MD 20882. Free shuttle provided throughout the afternoon.

During our visit we attended an Open Studio session, visited the Betty Boyd Dettre Library and Research Center and saw “The Sky’s the Limit”.

We visited Alliance Comics in Downtown #SilverSpring to highlight their expansive collection of comics and graphic novels. They offer comic reservations, have a comic buyback program and even open an hour early on Wednesday for new releases. It was a pleasure visiting #AllianceComics and picking up a few $1 comics to jumpstart my collection.
