Children’s Day at Brookside Gardens

Come explore the art and science of gardening through child-driven art projects and engaging science activities.
Groups will rotate through four outdoor activity stations designed to educate and entertain. Sessions available on Saturday September 17 and 18. All participants, including adults, must register for a session.

During our visit we attended an Open Studio session, visited the Betty Boyd Dettre Library and Research Center and saw “The Sky’s the Limit”.

We visited Alliance Comics in Downtown #SilverSpring to highlight their expansive collection of comics and graphic novels. They offer comic reservations, have a comic buyback program and even open an hour early on Wednesday for new releases. It was a pleasure visiting #AllianceComics and picking up a few $1 comics to jumpstart my collection.
