Connecting the Community Through Dance

ClancyWorks Dance Company is excited to host a free event for the Wheaton community, which includes food, dance, and fun.

Come connect with ClancyWorks Dance Company on January 22 at 3 – 4:30pm. This FREE family friendly event is for children, parents, grandparents, siblings, cousins, and everyone in between. Let’s dance together, enjoy good food, and uplift the community through movement.

What you can expect:

- Mini Workshops led by Dr. Adrienne Clancy, Mathew Heggem and Devon “Steeltoe” Wallace
- Dance performances from ClancyWorks Dance Company
- A chance to check out the new Wheaton Recreational Center

During our visit we attended an Open Studio session, visited the Betty Boyd Dettre Library and Research Center and saw “The Sky’s the Limit”.

We visited Alliance Comics in Downtown #SilverSpring to highlight their expansive collection of comics and graphic novels. They offer comic reservations, have a comic buyback program and even open an hour early on Wednesday for new releases. It was a pleasure visiting #AllianceComics and picking up a few $1 comics to jumpstart my collection.
