Dance Educators Training Institute

This summer, join Clancyworks at UMBC for an unforgettable week of dancing, learning, and sharing with dancers, instructors, and national and international faculty in the convenience of your own backyard. In its 8th year, The Dance Educators Training Institute (DETI), co-presented by ClancyWorks and Baltimore County Public Schools, will take place August 4-8, 2014 from 10 a.m. to 4:30p.m daily. DETI 2014 sessions will include: • Technique Classes in a variety of dance styles • Historical/Cultural Dance Forms (Hip-Hop, West African, East Indian) • Somatic Studies • Composition, Improvisation, Partnering • Curriculum and Assessment Seminars, and More!
