Fiction II (8 sessions)

In this workshop course, students with some experience of fiction writing will submit work for peer review in an attempt to raise their game to the next level. Along the way, we'll also take some time to analyze excerpts of published work and do targeted exercises to develop strategies that will enrich the nuance and complexity of our fiction writing. By the end of the term, students will have a firmer grasp of not only the essentials of fiction but also the small yet significant choices that make the difference between a good piece of fiction and a great one.
