Floral Painting Workshop for Adults

With spring finally here, join CREATE teaching artist Kedir Ousman for a 4-session floral painting workshop.

Using a step-by-step approach, participants will work with acrylics to paint either individual flowers or a small bouquet. While studying the beauty of flowers with sensitivity and detail, Kedir will guide students through each stage of the process – from composition to color mixing to finishing details. Participants are encouraged to bring photos of flowers, live flowers, or artificial flowers. CREATE will have images and flowers on hand as well.

Class meets for 4 weeks, all materials

Parking Information: Metered garage parking is available in the Fenton Street Village (Garage 4) Parking Garage and a small surface lot by our building (see map above), and can be paid with either coins or through the MobileNOW app. Metered street parking is available on Silver Spring Avenue in front of our building, and will be available across the street when ongoing construction is finished.
