Mama ain’t goin’ nowhere! Helen Wheeler is a gun totin’ and whiskey drinking Granny, living in the small town of Crockett, Oklahoma.  But her son Nelson thinks it’s time for Mama to move closer to him. Loss, loneliness and the threat to independence are issues that Helen wrangles with through zany comedy and touching realism.  Helen on Wheels is a delightful heartwarming play, proving that feisty old ladies have the right to cause a ruckus, play bingo and bear arms.
