Heritage Days: Brookeville Academy

Guides in period attire will talk about life in the early 1880s. Exhibit of artifacts uncovered by archaeologists at the Madison House. Sit at the Academy’s desks for a penmanship lesson. Two half-hour walking tours of this “U.S. Capital for a Day” highlighting Brookeville during the War of 1812 will be offered at 2 & 3pm. Refreshments.
