Heritage Days: Gaithersburg Community Museum

Located in an 1884 railroad complex, the museum will offer a variety of hands-on Earth-Space Science activities. Saturday: John Hadfield's The Science Show at 2pm. Sunday: Flumpa & Friends Our of the World: A Space Odyssey - an Earth Science Adventure at 2pm. Guided walking tours of Olde Towne Gaithersburg upon request.

The National Museum of Women in the Arts (NMWA) advocates for better representation of women artists and serves as a vital center for thought leadership, community engagement, and social change.

During our visit we attended an Open Studio session, visited the Betty Boyd Dettre Library and Research Center and saw “The Sky’s the Limit”.

We visited Alliance Comics in Downtown #SilverSpring to highlight their expansive collection of comics and graphic novels. They offer comic reservations, have a comic buyback program and even open an hour early on Wednesday for new releases. It was a pleasure visiting #AllianceComics and picking up a few $1 comics to jumpstart my collection.
