Docent-led tours of the Street Car Hall, Streetcars Go to the Movies video, and a model of the Rock Creek Railway. “Civil War Horsecars” exhibit explores the introduction of street railways in the Nation’s Capital. Ride vintage streetcars on a two-mile track through Northwest Branch Park ($).

During our visit we attended an Open Studio session, visited the Betty Boyd Dettre Library and Research Center and saw “The Sky’s the Limit”.

We visited Alliance Comics in Downtown #SilverSpring to highlight their expansive collection of comics and graphic novels. They offer comic reservations, have a comic buyback program and even open an hour early on Wednesday for new releases. It was a pleasure visiting #AllianceComics and picking up a few $1 comics to jumpstart my collection.
