Jim Crow Practices on Streetcars

At 1:30 p.m., Eric Madison presents Jim Crow Practices on Streetcars, a story of the varied regulation of and opposition efforts to racial segregation on transit. Street car rides depart every 40 minutes between 12:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Street Car Hall tours begin every 40 minutes between 12:50 p.m. and 4:10 p.m.

During our visit we attended an Open Studio session, visited the Betty Boyd Dettre Library and Research Center and saw “The Sky’s the Limit”.

We visited Alliance Comics in Downtown #SilverSpring to highlight their expansive collection of comics and graphic novels. They offer comic reservations, have a comic buyback program and even open an hour early on Wednesday for new releases. It was a pleasure visiting #AllianceComics and picking up a few $1 comics to jumpstart my collection.
