Liszt and Brahms

Beloved conductor Mario Venzago directs Liszt’s most popular symphonic poem Les Préludes.

Beloved conductor Mario Venzago directs Liszt’s most popular symphonic poem Les Préludes. “He gets a refinement of tone and dynamics from the BSO that no one else has quite matched” (Baltimore Sun). Brahms’ Third Symphony spans the full range of human emotion from excitement to despair. Mozart’s vivacious Piano Concerto No. 22 is matched by young virtuoso Kit Armstrong.
