Literary Café - Books, Beignets and Scholarships

Join the Montgomery County (MD) Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. for an afternoon of conversation, celebration and cuisine at our Literary Café. Hosted by the DMV’s own Marcus Johnson, musician, author and on-air personality, this event will feature exciting discussions with local authors including special invited guest Will Jawando, recognition of amazing scholars in our region, spoken word and authentic New Orleans beignets and other delicious treats. You can also support MCAC’s scholarship fund by purchasing gently loved books. This free event is for all ages. Don’t miss this opportunity to experience local talent and see youth leaders in action as MCAC awards them with scholarships. All attendees must register in advance.
