Celebrate Valentine’s Day early with this gorgeous program of love songs and duets.

Sopranos Mandy Brown and Shaina Kuhn, baritone Matthew Maisano, tenor Colby Mullen, and pianist Andrew Stewart will perform classics by Schubert, Bizet, Mozart, and Hahn, plus lesser known jewels by Samuel Coleridge-Taylor, H. T. Burleigh, Florence Price, Undine Smith Moore, and Amy Beach.

Masks and proof of vaccination are required.

During our visit we attended an Open Studio session, visited the Betty Boyd Dettre Library and Research Center and saw “The Sky’s the Limit”.

We visited Alliance Comics in Downtown #SilverSpring to highlight their expansive collection of comics and graphic novels. They offer comic reservations, have a comic buyback program and even open an hour early on Wednesday for new releases. It was a pleasure visiting #AllianceComics and picking up a few $1 comics to jumpstart my collection.
