Join us for a festive day of Chinese folk dancing, music, and arts and crafts celebrating the Lunar New Year by the Chinese Culture and Community Service Center.

Join us for a festive day of Chinese folk dancing, music, and arts and crafts celebrating the Lunar New Year. The Chinese Culture and Community Service Center will be providing all the entertainment and crafting projects. This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Library, Montgomery County, MD. Free for the entire family.

During our visit we attended an Open Studio session, visited the Betty Boyd Dettre Library and Research Center and saw “The Sky’s the Limit”.

We visited Alliance Comics in Downtown #SilverSpring to highlight their expansive collection of comics and graphic novels. They offer comic reservations, have a comic buyback program and even open an hour early on Wednesday for new releases. It was a pleasure visiting #AllianceComics and picking up a few $1 comics to jumpstart my collection.
