Bring the family and celebrate the Year of the Tiger with us!

Starting with a lightly sketched canvas, you’ll be guided through the painting of an adorable tiger. Stick with traditional tiger colors or create something wild and creative! Younger participants will have the option of using markers or paint daubers rather than paintbrushes.

During our visit we attended an Open Studio session, visited the Betty Boyd Dettre Library and Research Center and saw “The Sky’s the Limit”.

We visited Alliance Comics in Downtown #SilverSpring to highlight their expansive collection of comics and graphic novels. They offer comic reservations, have a comic buyback program and even open an hour early on Wednesday for new releases. It was a pleasure visiting #AllianceComics and picking up a few $1 comics to jumpstart my collection.
