Free Outdoor Movies!

Summer is coming and that means it’s time for outdoor family fun! Grab a blanket and your kids and join us for Moonlight Movies at Kentlands Mansion. Fridays – July 19^th The Incredibles; August 2^nd Spaceballs; and August 16^th The Greatest Showman - from 7:30pm to 11pm, with movies starting at sunset. Light concessions, beer, and wine for purchase (cash only, please).

During our visit we attended an Open Studio session, visited the Betty Boyd Dettre Library and Research Center and saw “The Sky’s the Limit”.

We visited Alliance Comics in Downtown #SilverSpring to highlight their expansive collection of comics and graphic novels. They offer comic reservations, have a comic buyback program and even open an hour early on Wednesday for new releases. It was a pleasure visiting #AllianceComics and picking up a few $1 comics to jumpstart my collection.
