This March Maryland Youth Ballet’s Studio Company will present a mixed repertoire concert at the Cultural Arts Center.

Saturday, March 2 MYB’s Studio Company will present a mixed repertoire concert that will include excerpts from the classic ballet Coppélia staged by Francoise Thouveny-Doyle as well as modern and contemporary works from MYB faculty member Christopher Doyle and MYB Student, Jacob Cowan.

During our visit we attended an Open Studio session, visited the Betty Boyd Dettre Library and Research Center and saw “The Sky’s the Limit”.

We visited Alliance Comics in Downtown #SilverSpring to highlight their expansive collection of comics and graphic novels. They offer comic reservations, have a comic buyback program and even open an hour early on Wednesday for new releases. It was a pleasure visiting #AllianceComics and picking up a few $1 comics to jumpstart my collection.
