Oktoberfest Open House

The City of Gaithersburg presents the 23rd annual celebration of Oktoberfest at the Kentlands. Wine Terrace, Beer Garden, food vendors and the ever-popular performances will grace the Old Farm, the grounds around the Arts Barn and Kentlands Mansion. Enjoy free performances and artist demonstrations in the Arts Barn. OKTOBERFEST OPEN HOUSE Arts Barn Sun, Oct. 12, 12 p.m. – 5 p.m.

During our visit we attended an Open Studio session, visited the Betty Boyd Dettre Library and Research Center and saw “The Sky’s the Limit”.

We visited Alliance Comics in Downtown #SilverSpring to highlight their expansive collection of comics and graphic novels. They offer comic reservations, have a comic buyback program and even open an hour early on Wednesday for new releases. It was a pleasure visiting #AllianceComics and picking up a few $1 comics to jumpstart my collection.
