Montgomery Preservation, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving, protecting, and promoting Montgomery County’s rich architectural heritage and historic landscapes. Our public services include the annual Historic Preservation Awards, historic Silver Spring B&O Railroad Station care and rental, free community open houses, and preservation advocacy. Please join us for our Open House to learn more about preservation in Montgomery County.

During our visit we attended an Open Studio session, visited the Betty Boyd Dettre Library and Research Center and saw “The Sky’s the Limit”.

We visited Alliance Comics in Downtown #SilverSpring to highlight their expansive collection of comics and graphic novels. They offer comic reservations, have a comic buyback program and even open an hour early on Wednesday for new releases. It was a pleasure visiting #AllianceComics and picking up a few $1 comics to jumpstart my collection.
