CANCELLED-Pastel Drawing Workshop - Magnificent Masters

This Young Rembrandt’s Pastel Art workshop focuses on five different artist.  Each day we create a large, original pastel drawing replicating a famous artist’s masterpiece.  Draw a colorful goldfish bowl as Henri Matisse did in his Goldfish Painting.  Recreate Vincent Van Gogh’s famous Starry Night complete with swirls throughout the sky.  Create powerful still-life full of Paul Cezanne’s robust colors.  We’ll also draw Andre Derain’s Portrait of Matisse and mimic the drawing of Thiebald in his Cake Paintings.  Each day will challenge us with the pastel media, but in the end we will be Masters ourselves, with works worthy of framing.  No experience necessary.  Please wear an old shirt or smock. Ages 11-16
