Paul Carr’s Jazz Academy of Music is a non profit organization that has been a staple in jazz education in the DVM for the last 20 years. The award winning Orchestra and Ensemble are both long time running ensembles directed by Mr.Paul Carr.

The Jazz Academy of Music (JAM) is beginning the Jazz Academy Genesis band for young people interested in learning an instrument to eventually have the skills to play and perform Jazz music in a group setting. The Genesis band is an excellent opportunity for those who have no or little musical experience who want to grow their skills while also learning about the jazz idiom.
