In this workshop we?ll explore what makes poetry vivid and powerful. How do you pinpoint the places where your poem?s energy flags? Does the writing get in the way of the poem?s work? Do you need to condense or re-vision your work? Gain insight into the mysterious and necessary work of revision. We?ll workshop poems every week. Bring 15 copies of a poem you?ve written to the first class. No meeting March 24th.
