A workshop for beginning poets and those who want to revisit the basics. How is poetry different from prose? We'll discuss-- rhythm, language, form, images, and meaning. The instructor will give writing prompts, and we'll gently workshop poems. Bring a published poem you admire, and if you wish, a poem you've written, to the first class.
