Ever wanted to play interior decorator for an animal? Here is your chance!

GET TIX

Brighten up the home of a Meadowside Nature Center animal by creating a one-of-a-kind Halloween masterpiece for one the of center's animals. Pumpkins and carving tools will be provided. Once finished, artists will be able to watch the animals explore their new spooky decor. Parents must accompany children, although only children need to register.

During our visit we attended an Open Studio session, visited the Betty Boyd Dettre Library and Research Center and saw “The Sky’s the Limit”.

We visited Alliance Comics in Downtown #SilverSpring to highlight their expansive collection of comics and graphic novels. They offer comic reservations, have a comic buyback program and even open an hour early on Wednesday for new releases. It was a pleasure visiting #AllianceComics and picking up a few $1 comics to jumpstart my collection.
