The Extreme Novelist II (Adults, 8 Weeks)

Participants who have completed one or more short stories, a novella, or at least half of their novel or memoir, will take on the challenge of revising and polishing their work to meet the tough demands of today’s publishing world. This course is intended for writers serious about their publication goals and in need of gentle but experienced guidance. Participants will learn ways to avoid the most common issues that result in rejection. Exposition, dialogue, characterization, focus and pacing will be analyzed, and corrected when necessary. Options for individual plotting issues will be discussed and applied to manuscripts, while the group provides mutual support.
