The National String Symphonia (NSS Orchestra) is a professional all-string orchestra celebrating its 10-year anniversary. What a decade it has been — performances throughout the Washington-Baltimore metro area, world premieres, recordings of music that hadn’t been heard in centuries — it’s been a wonderful journey. But who would have anticipated a pandemic that not only stopped all activities for a while but also may have changed the nature of performing music permanently?
