Join us on Friday, February 4 from 7-9 PM for an onsite opening reception for new exhibitions.

RSVP to our in person reception on Friday, February 4 from 7-9 PM! Stop by and see solo exhibitions by 2021 VisArts Bresler Resident Artists, Safiyah Cheatam, Edgar Reyes ,and Fargo Tbakhi; a solo exhibition and interactive project by 2021 VisArts Fellow, Hannah Brancato; and the 2022 VisArts Faculty Exhibition.

This event is free and open to the public.

During our visit we attended an Open Studio session, visited the Betty Boyd Dettre Library and Research Center and saw “The Sky’s the Limit”.

We visited Alliance Comics in Downtown #SilverSpring to highlight their expansive collection of comics and graphic novels. They offer comic reservations, have a comic buyback program and even open an hour early on Wednesday for new releases. It was a pleasure visiting #AllianceComics and picking up a few $1 comics to jumpstart my collection.
