Winter Concert

Come and celebrate the holiday season as Glorystar Children's Chorus–5 Combined Choirs–performs a rich program of Eastern and Western Holiday music appealing to audiences of all ages.

The program includes choral music from around the world; from Baroque to contemporary and living composers; and in 6 different languages including Chinese, English, Yoruba, Spanish, Latin, and Russian.

The children put anyone in the best holiday mood with two festive audience sing-alongs: HAPPY WINTER/FROSTY THE SNOWMAN, and DA HAI A! GU XIANG (The Ocean my Homeland), Chinese composition originally written for the 1983 movie “Calling of the Sea”, expressing man’s connection to both places. The audience will learn this song with Pinyin phonetics for pronunciation.
