Writing the Family Memoir

Have you always wanted to write your family memoir but weren't sure how to start? Join other emerging writers as you learn about the different types of family memoirs and how to work on them. In this one-day, four-hour class, participants will take part in many writing exercises, including writing prompts based on using photographs and music. After each writing exercise, everyone will have a chance to share their work in small groups. Participants will leave the class with a greater understanding of family memoirs, resources available to help them, and enthusiasm to begin or continue their family memoirs.
