From the Book Misty of Chincoteaque

Long stained glass scene of a boy and a girl laying on a Chincoteague island in Virginia looking at two horses. The island is surrounded by water and a ship can be observed to the far left of the composition. Details have been painted on the glass to provide more color variation. The background of the piece is made of varying types of wavy glass set at intervals to create visual interest. A frame divides each window into nine sections and is mounted over the piece to provide support and is soldered to the piece itself.
