Mixed media mosaic combining a variety of found objects such as ceramic tiles, mirrors, beads, plastic balls, marbles, shells etc. The piece is framed by a long rectangle that is decorated with numbers and patterns of circles and triangles. On the interior of this frame, three semi-circular shapes depict fish, plants and birds in a radiating pattern. The semi-circle in the bottom right corner reads “This clear spring mosaic mural is made with objects from many countries around the world”, the letters of which arch over a cat and the artists signatures. In the spaces between the circular shapes small white stars are hung in small groups. These stars are each bordered with a metal strip on their edges that appears to be part of the molding process.
