Folk art mosaic collaboration between the artist and students incorporating many found objects such as: mirrors, ceramic tiles, marbles, shells etc. Tiles in the piece read “Clay pieces by 2nd grade Stedwick students.” The main portion of the composition is made of a wavy shape that is filled with the tiles made by the students and holds the text. Two round elements in the wavy portion are mirrored above the large piece in six additional circle pieces hung randomly above. Below the large piece, seven birds are hung in a line and all face to the right. A sun motif with three birds that face to the left, are hung on the wall at a 90 degree angle to the main composition.
