Untitled

Frank Lloyd Wright-esque stained glass window. Two borders, one clear and an opaque one inside that, frame a mostly geometric composition of squares that when viewed from below are actually shallow four-sided pyramids. The end and center pieces of the composition are less geometric with curved abstract lines combined with small vertical strips of glass. The central panel holds a large purple and blue circular design made of curved and straight rectangles. The entire piece is made of 11 panels of differing sizes. The only color in the composition is in the circular design in the center and also in the reddish pink horizontal bands that run between the square pyramid shapes. Like Lawrence’s other work, there is a metal grid that fits over the piece on the interior face to provide support. The piece is set into the frame of an existing window so it is protected on the exterior face from damage
