A: Children in white smocks paint a large mural in the background depicting a large apple tree with people riding a horse and an elephant and a house to the right. Other children are sitting at a table in the foreground and painting on pieces of paper. The composition is done in muted greens, blues and yellows.

B: Children sit at desks in the foreground and read in groups or alone. The background of the piece illustrates their imaginations as they read the stories. Images of Dr. Seuss characters, Rapunzel and Native Americans represent the books in hand.

C: A large blackboard covers the entire back wall in the composition and is filled with mathematical formulae. A teacher stands with her students and oversees the work that they are doing at their desks. The children work in groups in a non-regimented environment and are excited about the knowledge they are gaining.
