AUDITIONS for Love Is Love Is Love at the Arts Barn

In honor of Pride Month, the Arts Barn, in partnership with Kentlands Community Players, Rockville Little Theatre, Rockville Musical Theatre and Victorian Lyric Opera Company, will hold auditions for “Love Is Love Is Love,” an 80-minute musical revue with a twist. An homage to, and in the style of Backwards Broadway Equity Fights AIDs, it celebrates love in its many forms: From young love-at-first-glance, to dating, first kiss, rejection, envy, starting over and letting go. Funds raised will support MoCo Pride and the Arts Barn Theatre Seat Fund. The production is directed by Noel Schoonover. Musical direction by Arielle Bayer. Choreography by Katherine Rogers and Jackie Rogers.  Auditions are open to all (17+)!

Performance dates are Saturday, June 29, 2024, at 8 p.m. and Sunday, June 30, 2024. at 2 p.m. Typical rehearsal schedule is Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7-10 p.m.  (See conflict calendar for specific rehearsal dates.)

Auditions will be held on Tuesday April 30, 2024, and Thursday May 2, 2024, from 7 - 9:30 p.m. at the Kentlands Mansion, 320 Kent Square Road, Gaithersburg, MD 20878.

• Seeking a mixed ensemble of 12 performers; six men and six women. Casting performers age 17+.

Walk-ins will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis; however, we highly recommend registering for a slot in advance.
