Summer Teaching Artist — Music Director

ATMTC’s Education Department seeks teaching artists to join our roster of Elementary summer camp staff this summer at Glen Echo Park, and at an offsite location in Rockville, MD.  Summer Staff Requirements:

• All summer staff must be willing to submit for a background check.
• All summer staff must be fully vaccinated against COVID 19.
• All summer staff must be willing to teach masked while indoors for the moment

Positions available are:

Glen Echo Teaching Artist — Music Director

The successful candidate will have experience working with elementary aged students, be collaborative, be able to provide creative direction and instruction that can be executed by students both with and without prior theatre, dance, or music experience. The candidate should value process and play over product in their approach with young people.

SMTC is a full day summer camp that runs from 9:00 am-4:00 pm Monday-Friday, no evening or weekend hours required.
