Enjoy an Evening of Spoken Word on the lawn of the Josiah Henson Museum & Park as local artists use their work to put a spotlight on the African American experience.
With long-time spoken word artist, Donney Rose as emcee, four artists will perform their original work on stage. Make sure to stick around after the performances, for an artist Q&A! This free event begins at 6:00 pm with food and beverage for purchase from local vendor Girl on the Vine. Before the show starts, be sure to visit the exhibits of the Josiah Henson Museum – open from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The performance begins at 7:00 pm and guests are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs
