37th Annual Strawberry Festival

Sandy Spring Museum’s 37th annual Strawberry Festival will be a 2-day jamboree featuring live music and performing arts, vendors, crafters, children’s games, petting zoo, pony rides, food trucks and tons of strawberries!
A Celebration of Community!
The Strawberry Festival was first held in June 1982 at the old Montgomery Hospital grounds in Olney, MD. It was created and chaired by Cindy Chirtea as a fundraiser for the museum. It was completely staffed by volunteers and featured many of the same activities as today, including craftspeople, entertainment, games, a plant sale, and food and drinks for sale. Admissions: $3/person; $10/family (4-6 family members). Free admission for infants (under 1 year of age).
Wristbands for Children’s Games and Activities: $15/unlimited activities wristband if you order by June 1 at 3pm. ($20 each at the festival)
Raffle tickets: $5 for each ticket for the Escape to the Slopes, Dine Around Town or Grill It Up! raffles.
PLEASE NOTE: No pets allowed at the Festival. We love our pets too, but for the safety of all guests, please leave them at home.
