Concert and Swing Dance with Svetlana & the Delancey Five

The Glen Echo Park Partnership presents a swing dance with live music in the historic Spanish Ballroom. Tonight we are thrilled to welcome Svetlana & The Delancey Five! Our good friends from the DC Lindy Exchange will teach a beginner dance lesson from 8 – 9 pm (included in the cost of admission). Dancing follows from 9 pm – midnight. No partner or prior experience needed.

It’s a carnival of sound, seamlessly moving from sophisticated tender tones to rowdy foot-stomping music fit for the 21st Century. Fronted by the energetic Svetlana Shmulyan, the band has headlined many sold-out shows in premier venues like the Blue Note, Iridium, and Joe\’s Pub.
