Drawing for Beginners and Intermediates

Acclaimed artist Vian Borchert will be teaching an ONSITE and an In-person Drawing art class this Fall starting in early October starting on Oct 6 at Glen Echo Park in Glen Echo, MD. The class is on Friday mornings form 9:30AM till 12PM.

The class starts on Friday Oct 6 and runs for 6 sessions till Nov 17, 2023. Learn the ABC’s of drawing from master artist, Vian Borchert, an art educator of over 15 years, and a “Notable Alumni” from Corcoran GW. Learn how to draw shapes utilizing lines and shading. Drawing mediums from graphite, charcoal, pen and ink, and colored pencils are utilized. Demos of line marks and shading are presented. Course covers a variety of studies such as still life from fruits to flowers and more. Designed for beginning and continuing students. Come along on this creative experience and learn the skills needed to draw like a pro.
