Poetry Workshop with Neha Misra

Create poetry to explore your personal connections to the natural world!

GET TIX

Exhibiting artist Neha Misra will guide participants through writing prompts and exercises to create poetry exploring your personal connections to the natural world.

As inspiration, Ms. Misra will read the eco-poems featured in the exhibition Dreams of Earth Renewal along with the origin stories at the root of these poems. Participants are invited to bring their favorite poems about the natural world to share.

Recycled writing paper and pens will be provided. All skill levels are welcome. ... view more »

During our visit we attended an Open Studio session, visited the Betty Boyd Dettre Library and Research Center and saw “The Sky’s the Limit”.

We visited Alliance Comics in Downtown #SilverSpring to highlight their expansive collection of comics and graphic novels. They offer comic reservations, have a comic buyback program and even open an hour early on Wednesday for new releases. It was a pleasure visiting #AllianceComics and picking up a few $1 comics to jumpstart my collection.
